Mino Ware: 1300 Years of Japanese Ceramic Artistry

Its foundation was built upon the high-quality clay born from the region's rolling hills and the pure water of its rivers. The most defining characteristic of Mino Ware is its diversity, unbound by a single style. With 15 designated traditional forms, it has reflected the aesthetic sensibilities of each era—from the bold, green-glazed designs of "Oribe" to the soft, gentle textures of "Shino." This spirit is passed down to modern artisans who create new beauty for our daily lives through items like Japanese teapot sets and yunomi Japanese tea cups.
