This pale wood tea saucer, with its simple and sophisticated design, beautifully showcases the texture of the material. It's lightweight and easy to handle, offering an ideal option for serving footed bowls or small tea cups to guests. This teacup is suitable as a gift for someone who wants to enjoy authentic Japanese tea.

DESCRIPTION

This is a small tea saucer that fully utilizes the texture of the material. It comes in two colors: "Pale Wood" which is left as is and "Ink Black" which is dyed with ink and then coated with oil. Its design is as simple and refined as a small, unnamed flower blooming in the wild, evoking a gentle impression. It is lightweight and easy to handle. Perfect for serving guests with footed bowls or small conical teacups.

Since it's unpainted, moisture and tea will seep into it, so please enjoy this texture. Applying perilla oil or linseed oil will give it a moist, darker look and make it less prone to soaking up moisture.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

Instruction for Use

  • As it cannot be washed with water, please wipe it with a dry cloth for cleaning.

Precautions

  • Common: Due to the nature of the raw materials, please be aware that color and grain may vary. Do not wash with water. Please wipe off with a dry cloth. Excessive drying may cause cracking.
  • Pale Wood: No coating has been applied. Moisture and tea will seep into it, but please enjoy the texture that develops with use. If staining is a concern, applying perilla oil, linseed oil, or oil for wooden tableware will make it look moist and dark, and less likely to absorb moisture.
  • Ink Black: Ink Black is colored with ink and then coated with oil for wooden tableware. Please use it with confidence. If it becomes dry with use, please apply perilla oil or linseed oil. Please be aware that the color may rub off onto cloth or other materials.

This item may take up to 4 weeks for delivery.
