Born from Nankei Pottery, established in 1913, this teapot and tea bowl set combines beauty with functionality. It is specifically designed for teas that require precise temperature control, such as gyokuro and sencha. The inside of the teapot is unglazed, featuring a fine texture that softens the astringency of the tea, allowing for a smoother and richer taste.

Description

The teapot has a capacity of 120ml, ideal for brewing 50ml to 80ml of tea, while the large tea bowl holds about 50ml and the smaller one about 30ml. The inside of the bowls is coated with a milky-white glaze, enhancing the color of the tea beautifully.

Nankei Pottery, inheriting the tradition of Banko ware, has internalized all manufacturing processes. Fired at high temperatures, this set is suitable for various types of tea and prevents odor transfer. Its simple and elegant design harmonizes with any dining table, creating a tranquil moment.
