This bamboo cup set is meticulously handcrafted by artisans from a bamboo craftsmanship company established over 50 years ago in Nagaoka, Kyoto. The production of these bamboo cups involves managing bamboo groves, harvesting the material, and ensuring the strength of the cups through a water removal process, taking over five years in total. Each cup, made from natural bamboo, offers a unique drinking experience. They are lightweight, durable, and have excellent insulation properties, allowing you to handle them even when filled with hot liquids.

These cups are perfect for modern Japanese dining that values natural materials, as well as lifestyles that embrace the beauty of "wabi-sabi," the appreciation of natural aging and imperfection. Unlike the Tin Makie Bamboo Cup, the interior of these cups showcases the natural finish of the wood itself.
