Each of these bamboo cups is meticulously handmade by artisans from a bamboo craft company established in Nagaoka, Kyoto, over 50 years ago. It takes more than five years to produce these bamboo cups, involving processes such as bamboo forest management, timber harvesting, and ensuring the strength of the cups through water drainage. Crafted from natural bamboo, each piece offers a unique drinking experience. Lightweight and durable, these bamboo cups remain cool to the touch even when filled with hot liquids, boasting excellent insulation properties. Suitable for modern Japanese dining featuring natural materials or lifestyles that value the wabi-sabi aesthetic of appreciating the natural aging of materials. Packaged individually in boxes, they make excellent gifts.
