This product is a traditional craft designated by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, and each piece is handmade by Mr. Kurimori (age 76), who has been recognized as a "Contemporary Master Craftsman" in Japan. Mr. Kurimori is the sixth-generation craftsman of a company founded in 1874, dedicated to creating magewappa products. He holds the titles of nationally designated traditional craftsman, Akita Prefecture Master Craftsman, and Contemporary Master Craftsman.

This sake set includes a sake pitcher and two sake cups, made from the most beautifully grained cedar wood. When sake is poured into these vessels, the cedar aroma mellows and enhances the flavor of the sake. According to Mr. Kurimori, this sake set "elevates first-class sake to a special grade," allowing you to enjoy the cedar-scented sake when warmed. It is an ideal gift for sake enthusiasts.
