Japanese Bamboo Flower Vase "Fleeting Moment"
Japanese Bamboo Flower Vase "Fleeting Moment"
The "Fleeting Moment" vase is crafted by Emi Kamiya, the youngest and only female among twelve artisans in Shizuoka Prefecture who carry on the 800-year tradition of Shizuoka bamboo craftsmanship. Bamboo craftsmanship from Shizuoka demands finely uniform processing and unique bending techniques, requiring artisans to undergo 5 to 10 years of training to master these skills. This vase features delicate lines achieved through finely processed bamboo strips, making it a natural and elegant interior item crafted from bamboo materials.
